- MK1 Prelims Results
With each competitor in prelims taking 4 rides, 2 of which counted, it took the better part of the day to run through the 77 male competitors at the final World Cup event in Thun, Switzerland. Peter Csonka of the Slovak Republic paddled to the first place position in style (see his textbook Clean Blunt above). Stephen Wright threw McNasties galore, taking the second place position. Eric Jackson and Dustin Urban were in 3rd and 4th, respectively. Men’s quarter finals run from 9-noon tomorrow, then it’s semis for all classes in the afternoon. Final World Cup results will be determined Sunday. Stay tuned!
